Thomas Wright Lewis Van Meter Was farmer; resided at 304 Ridgeway Road, Lexington, KY at time of death; born in Winchester, son of Amelia Lewis and Benjamin F. VanMeter, but had lived in Lexington for 15 years; early education in Winchester, attended Central University in Richmond; member of Maxwell Street Presbyterian Church; wife: Holloway VanMeter, daughters, Mrs. John F. Day of Maysville and Mrs. Amelia V. Rogers of Lexington, one son T.E. VanMeter; three sisters, Mrs. William Pettit, Mrs. Emma V. Hamilton, and Miss Mabelle VanMeter, and five grandchildren.
