THOMAS VAN METER THOMAS VAN METER, 64, of Delair, died Tuesday at Kennedy Memorial Hospitals/Cherry Hill Division. Mr. Van Meter retired in 1991 as a sheet metal worker for Local 19, Sheet Metal Workers of Philadelphia. Survivors: his wife, Caroline Shinn Van Meter; a son, Thomas of Pennsauken; a daughter, Caroline Abbatelli of Pennsauken; his mother, Catherine Van Meter of Berlin; a brother, Robert of Riverside, and five sisters, Helen Kerlin and Florence De Santa, both of Berlin, Dorothy Mufalli of Atco, Kathleen Reale and Marie Polino, both of Riverside. Services: viewing, 7 to 9 p.m. today, Inglesby & Sons, Inc. Funeral Home, Cove and Wyndam Roads, Pennsauken; funeral, 10 a.m. tomorrow, burial, Bethel Memorial Park, Pennsauken.
