Ronald D. Van Meter

Ronald D. Van Meter "Ron", "Ronnie", "Grandpa Fuzzy", age 65, passed away June 20, 2010 in his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ron was born October 4, 1944 in Kingwood, West Virgina. Ron honorably served on active duty in the United States Air Force from October 1961 until June 1966. He was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Lillian Van Meter. Ron is survived by three daughters Rhonda Van Meter, Holly Harvey and Diana Van Meter; three siblings Arch Van Meter, John Van Meter and Suzanne Stone; six grand daughters Krissy Fear (Rhonda), Alysha Arguien, Kacy Arguien, Lily Harvey (Holly), Madison and Neveah Green (Diana); and one great-grand daughter Mya Guyer (Krissy). Ron was a loving father and grandfather to "his girls". They meant the world to him and he meant the world to them. May He Rest In Peace. Services will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Date and time to be announced.
