Philip C. Van Meter

Philip C. Van Meter was born to Philip and Edna Van Meter on Sept 10, 1930 in St. Louis, MO. Died October 22, 2003.

Married Diane Hake in 1955. Later divorced. Married MaryAnn Landers in 1987.

He was a prominent businessman in Salt Lake owning National Plg and Htg. Later moved to Bullhead AZ and owned Star Plg. Most recently retired to Brookings, OR. Even with his "grumpy" façade, Philip was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He will be missed.

Survived by wife Mary Ann (Brookings), brother Paul (Natalie) Van Meter, daughters Karla Sproul and Phyllis (Joe) LeMay (both Salt Lake), many stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
