Pamela VanMetre Hooker


Pamela VanMetre Hooker, 48, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2010, in Louisville.

She was a member of Southeast Christian Church and was a medical technologist at Norton"s Brownsboro Hospital.

Pamela is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Chris; two daughters, Chelsea and Cassidy; her parents, Roger and Judy VanMetre of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Laura (Chris) Lewis of Owensboro, and Elizabeth (Scott) Boehnlein of Louisville; her mother and father-in-law, Judy and Ron Hooker of Lexington; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A funeral ceremony is at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 15, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown with Father Scott Wimsett officiating. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery in Elizabethtown.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today, May 14, at the funeral home.
