Nola Mae Van Meter

BROWNSVILLE - Nola Mae Van Meter, 64, of Brook, formerly of Louisville, died at 11:45 p.m. EST Jan. 12, 2000, at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville.

The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and attended Open Door Baptist Church in Louisville. She was a daughter of the late Bradley Meredith and Genive Basham Meredith of Brownsville, who survives, and wife of the late Horace Van Meter Jr.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. CST Saturday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial in Salem Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Okolona Christian Church, 4701 E. Manslick Road, Louisville, Ky. 40219.

Other survivors include a daughter, Deborah Van Meter of Brooks; two sons, Nick Van Meter of Louisville and Keith Van Meter of Brooks; two brothers, Wayne Meredith of Sweeden and Larry Meredith of Tampa, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
