Macil Virginia (Van Meter) Dolly

Macil Virginia Dolly, 80, of Stephens City, VA, and formerly of Pendleton County, died Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal, VA.
Mrs. Dolly was born June 27, 1923, in Smoke Hole, she was the daughter of the late Otis Van Meter and Alice (Kimble) Van Meter.
She was a member of Stephens City United Methodist Church.
Her husband of 59 years, Olie A. Dolly, survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Wanda M. Dolly, a resident of Central Virginia Training Center in Lynchburg, VA; three sisters, Goldie Shirk, a resident of Grant County Nursing Home, Petersburg, Dora Alt and Thelma Shreve, both of Petersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Juanita Dolly and Eunice Dolly; two sisters, Gernie Judy and Gaynell Whetzel; and four brothers, Kermit Van Meter, Clinton Van Meter, Mervin Van Meter and Melvin Van Meter.
The Rev. William Withers conducted the funeral 11 a.m. Saturday at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg. Burial was in the Dolly Family Cemetery in Seneca Rocks
