Lonnie Ray VanMeter

Lonnie Ray VanMeter, 75, of Midwest City, passed away on Feb. 24, 2004 in Norman, OK. Lonnie was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Stroud, OK & belonged to Stroud Masonic Lodge #142 as a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines. Lonnie was devoted to his family & enjoyed being outdoors. He is survived by one sister Evelyn Louise Morris; one brother Clarence Neal VanMeter; several nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers. Services are 10:30 AM, Friday, February 27, 2004 at John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel. Located at 120 S. Broadway in Moore, OK. Interment to follow at 2:00 PM at Stroud Cemetery in Stroud, OK.
