Kenny E. Van Meter

Kenny E. Van Meter, 54, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam era, serving two tours.

Preceded in death by grandson, Jordan Brumbaugh, and niece, Kelly Smith-Ross, he is survived by wife, Alice; daughters, Mildred, Bernadett (Richard) Kollin, Roxanne; sons, Kenneth and Charles; mother, Mildred; four grandsons; brothers, Russell and Rick; sisters, Mildred, Carol, Sue, Nan, Melinda, and Melissa.

Funeral services Monday, 11 a.m., at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, with Pastor Robert L. Webb officiating. Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with military services conducted by V.F.W. 3383. Visitation Sunday, 5 to 7 p.m. (Campfield-Hickman, 330-745-3161.)
