Gusteen Meredith VanMeter

BROWNSVILLE - Gusteen Meredith VanMeter, 64, of Bee Spring died March 28, 2002, at University of Louisville Hospital.

The Edmonson County native was a homemaker. She was a daughter of the late Gussie Meredith and Cleaty Chambers VanMeter and the wife of the late Nathan VanMeter Jr.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Jock United Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Jock Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Patton Funeral Home and will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Survivors include a son, Rudy VanMeter of Bee Spring; three daughters, Kathy Johnson of Clermont, Fla., Carolyn Duvall of Brownsville and Diane VanMeter of Bee Spring; three sisters, Oleta Lasley of Leitchfield, Regina VanMeter of Bee Spring and Sue Vincent of Brownsville; and four grandchildren.
