DANVILLE - Funeral services for George Charles "Buck" VanMeter III, 49, of Danville will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Community Church of God, 535 S. Bowman Ave., Danville. The Rev. Steve Stanley will officiate.

Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Danville.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Pape Memorial Home and Cremation Gardens, 10 E. Williams St., Danville.

Mr. VanMeter died at 8:40 a.m. Sunday (Nov. 18, 2001) at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan campus, Danville.
