Everette Lewis Van Meter

Everett L. Van Meter, aged 68 years, and a native of Winchester, died at his apartment, Hotel Bigelow, Ogden, Utah, Wednesday morning after a brief illness. His sister, Miss Mabelle Van Meter, was with her brother when he passed away having been called to Ogden upon his ser5ious illness. He was the son of Benjamin F. and Amelia C. Lewis Van
Meter, and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Bigelow Van Meter; three brothers, T. W. Van Meter, Joe C. Van Meter and Dr. B. F. Van Meter; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Hamilton, Mrs. William Pettit and Miss Mabelle Van Meter, all of Lexington. The body of Mr. Van Meter accompanied by members of the family will arrive here Sunday night on the 9:10 o'clock Carolina Special and be taken to the home of his sister, Miss Mabelle Van Meter, 225 South Ashland Avenue. Funeral services having been held at Ogden, committal services will take place at the grave in the family lot in the cemetery at Winchester Monday. Notice of time will be announced later.
