EVELYN C. VAN METER

EVELYN C. VAN METER, 74, of Fairton-Millville Road, R.D. 4, Bridgeton, died Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden.

She was a school bus driver for several years and had been employed by the Bridgeton Board of Education, Kenneth Sheppard, Sam Manno and Mather Brothers.

Born in Atlantic City, she had lived at her current address for 45 years and had been a Bridgeton area resident most of her life.

Surviving are her husband, Frank B.; a son, David J. Davenport of Fortescue; and two brothers, Gene Caulkin of Pleasantville and William Reilly of Linwood.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Padgett Funeral Home, Bridgeton, where friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedarville.
