Elizabeth A. Van Meter

Elizabeth A. Van Meter, 85, of Fort Wayne, a member of Carroll Road Christian Fellowship Church, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at home.

The Vincennes native was a homemaker and delivered meals to the homebound for 17 years. She was also a member of Living Water Community Church in Anderson. Surviving are daughters Lana Farling of Pendleton and Bobbie Hughes of Fort Wayne; a son, Perry of Fort Wayne; a brother, Victor Gilgor of Fort Wayne; Nicholas a brother who preceded in death;  10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Robert B., preceded her in death. Services are 3 p.m. Sunday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, with calling one hour before services and also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials are to Carroll Road Christian Fellowship Church, Living Water Community Church or Parkview Home Health & Hospice.
