Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, at the Atkinson Chapel Harrisonville, MO. Burial will be in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO. Friends may call 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the chapel.

Mrs. VanMeter had lived in Belton for 48 years. She is survived by her husband, John C. of the home; one son, John Ray "J.R." VanMeter, Belton, MO and one daughter, Roseanna Seibert and her husband, Richard, Houston, TX. (Arr: under the directions of Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville, MO.)
