David William VanMeter
David William "Bill" VanMeter, 27, of Upper Tract, W.Va., died Saturday, May
26, 2007, at his home.
Mr. VanMeter was born Nov. 2, 1979, in Elkins, W.Va., and was a son of Lester
David VanMeter Sr. and Elaine Lahman VanMeter of Petersburg, W.Va.
He was employed at American Woodmark in Moorefield, W.Va. and Tri-County Tire in
Petersburg, W.Va.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Jessica Renee Ketterman
VanMeter, whom he married March 6, 2005; two daughters, Alyssa Lynn VanMeter of
Whitmer, W.Va., and Francis Marie VanMeter of Upper Tract, W.Va.; a
stepdaughter, Macey Doddrill of Whitmer, W.Va.; a son, David William VanMeter
Jr. of Upper Tract, W.Va.; two sisters, Crystal Thorne of Moorefield, W.Va. and
Holly M. Bennett of Circleville, W.Va.; and a brother, Lester VanMeter Jr. of
Upper Tract, W.Va.
Bishop J. Stephen Kimble will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday at the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Petersburg, W.Va.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the Kimble Funeral Home
in Franklin, W.Va.
